Purpose

Orkids is committed to ensuring the safety, dignity, and well-being of every child. We aim to create an inclusive and nurturing environment where children are protected from all forms of abuse, neglect, and exploitation.

Scope

This policy applies to all Orkids employees, volunteers, interns, consultants, and partners who work with or come into contact with children through Orkids programs and services.

Core Principles

Code of Conduct

All Orkids personnel must:

Reporting

• Concerns must be reported immediately to the Center Head.
• The Center Head will ensure the child’s safety, document the concern, and take necessary legal or organizational action.

Responsibility

Every     staff     member,     volunteer,     and      partner      shares     responsibility      for     child               safety. Leadership ensures training, monitoring, and adherence to this policy across all programs.

Review

The CPP will be reviewed annually and updated as needed to align with laws and best practices.
